Model Vida Guerra was born in 1980 in Havana, Cuba. When Guerra was six years old, her family moved to New Jersey. The young girl adapted to her new home quickly and she was very outgoing and friendly. She went to dance classes and was in fashion shows in her hometown.

When Vida Guerra was 18, she stripped down to a thong at one of these fashion shows and strutted for the audience. From this point on, Guerra's sexuality was undeniable. She got her first big break after she was in a music video for rapper "Big Pun". The video did not get Guerra that much exposure though and she started to work as a loans officer. A friend later suggested that Guerra send in self photos to FHM magazine. FHM were pleased with Guerra and felt that she fit a style of everyday babe that they were looking for to pose in lingerie shoots. The pictures got posted in the December 2002 issue to the magazine. Readers went crazy for the New Jersey babe and demanded to see more of her. This led to Guerra officially posing for FHM and people began to sit up and take notice of the girl. She was featured in several rap videos for artists like Naturally Smooth and P. Diddy.

In 2005, a scandal arose when Guerra's mobile telephone was hacked. Nude pictures of the model were spread all over the internet. Even though Guerra claimed that it wasn't her in the pictures, her record label said that Guerra had intentionally leaked the pictures for publicity. Later that year, Vida Guerra was named 26 in FHM's list of Top 100 Sexiest Females. She also won the award for "Best Butt" twice. In 2006, Guerra posed nude for Playboy magazine.
