Samaire Rhys Armstrong is an American actress. She is recognised for her offbeat and often quirky nature and rose to fame after appearing in the television series The O.C. and Dirty Sexy Money. In 2006 she starred as Nell Bedworth in the bodyswap comedy It's a Boy Girl Thing.

Armstrong lived in Japan for several years, before moving to Hawaii and later Sedona, Arizona where she grew up and attended Sedona Red Rock High School. She has also lived in Malaysia and China.
